A Day of Music

Welcome Friends & Neighbors
Thank you, everyone, who came out to the concert or who so generously contributed to Andrew's fund. It was a fabulous day and all of the bands were great! The stage crew did an incredible job. Their next gig should be a world beneft! Our family, Nick, Loretta, Page, Marlene, John, Chris, Caroline, Jill, and Terry feel so fortunate to have the help and support of such a wonderful community. Oh, and Andrew gives everyone a great big grin!

Andrew Merriman, the son of Quakertown High School graduate Nick Merriman and his wife Loretta, was born with Biliary Atresia, a potentially terminal liver condition. On December 27, 2008, at just 9 months old, Andrew received a critical liver transplant and is now doing well.

Andrew's grandparents, Terry Merriman and Marlene and John Ruby, are sponsoring a benefit concert on March 21st to help with the astronomical bills. These include the cost of extensive pre-transplant therapy, frequent travel/temporary relocation to a children’s hospital in Seattle and the array of medications that Andrew must take long-term to ensure he does not reject the liver.

As well as a day of music, we will have raffles for original oil paintings and a signed Fender Stratocaster. We hope that you will be able to join us for a day of music and fun.
